New update for the app Euro Coin Collection.
8 new 2-Euro commemorative coins of the 2021 have been added, thus starting the series of commemoratives issued this year.
Among them there’s the french one dedicated to the 75th anniversary of UNICEF, which interesting design depicts earth as a jigsaw puzzle, a methaphore representing the bond that binds us to each other.
Two new features have also been added: a tab showing the issuing volume of the standard coins listed by year, a feature requested by some collectors in the past, and a Lock album tabs option in the app settings.
Thanks to websites such as Eurocollezione which keep issuing volume data always up to date.
The data is for circulating coins, except for Vatican, San Marino and Monaco which have information also for coincards and mini sets.
Hope you like it! 🙂

The first update of 2018 for Euro Coin Collection adds 25 2-Euro commemorative coins, some already issued, others only announced.
For this year at least 34 2-Euro commemorative coins will be issued.
Among them, the most curious is probably the one issue by Slovenia to celebrate the World Bee Day, on May 20.
It’s an initiative promoted by Slovenia to raise public awareness of the importance of bees and apicultural products.
This version also corrects a couple of bugs reported by collectors and adds an option to distinguish the variants of the commemorative coins issued by Luxemburg in 2018.
Last but not least, the iPhone version is now optimized for iPhone X, in order to provide the best experience on the latest smartphone made by Apple.

Also, 14 new 2-Euro commemorative coins of the 2017 have been added, already issued or announced, included the two Italian coins dedicated to Titus Livius and the St Mark’s Basilica.

In this update there are the first 10 announced by as many Euro-area countries, among them the german one with the Porta Nigra in Trier, twelfth of the Bundesländer series which will be issued in early February.
